Providing a unique blend of 21st Century learning and the best of British Education in the heart of the Welsh Countryside
Myddelton College is situated on the edge of the picturesque market town of Denbigh, North Wales, with stunning views over the Clwydian Range. The town is immersed in history, and the stunning 37 acre Myddelton estate is at the foot of the remains of the 13th century fortress of Denbigh Castle, creating an atmospheric and tranquil location for your childβs education. If you are looking for a school that provides quality academic teaching, with small class sizes, a balanced and well-rounded curriculum that takes place in a caring environment, we invite you to come and visit our school.
Myddelton College is made up of an exceptional SLT team, as well as student leaders.
π Congratulations to our incredible students who completed their training DofE Expeditions last week! ποΈ Two nights under canvas, with one sub-zero and one wet - talk about testing your camping skills! Approximately 41km covered (if they managed to stay on track and not get lost in the wilderness!). But let's be honest, the real theme of the expedition was MUD, glorious mud!
Our Myddelton pupils were amazing! A special shoutout to the Year 10 Green team - Will C, Leia H, Brooke, Jake & Matteo, and the Year 12 Blue Team - Tom, Jac, Lewis & Kate! These heroes went above and beyond, lending a hand (and a shovel) to rescue Marian from her muddy predicament.
Special mentions are in order: Matteo, for his relentless efforts to dig Marian out, even resorting to bare hands and later a spade! Jac, for wielding the shovel like a true champion! And Kate, for her... let's say, unconventional methods of trying to free Marian!
Let's not forget the rest of the green team, who rallied together and even called in reinforcements (hello, Anwen & Seren + Dad with those much-needed shovels!) to save the day.
And to Marian herself - a true trooper! Despite the cold, the mud, and being stuck for over two hours, she kept her spirits high and refused to throw in the towel (or should we say, the muddy boots?). Now that's resilience!
Well done to everyone involved and a special thank you to Ms Klabou and Mr Dixon for their dedication and effort throughout. πππ
