Myddelton College is offering every Ruthin pupil a place from September 2026, eight miles away in Denbigh, with a simple transfer and real support at every step.

We know how unsettling the closure of Ruthin School is for families. Myddelton College has worked closely with Ruthin to make sure your child’s education can continue smoothly. We are a small, caring day and boarding school where every pupil is known as an individual, and we would be glad to welcome your family.
What we are offering
- A place for every Ruthin pupil from September 2026, with a simple and supportive transfer
- Subject matching and individual academic planning, with subject-by-subject discussions for examination years
- Full pastoral support, and dedicated help for international families with visa and sponsorship arrangements
- Lessons delivered as a Microsoft Global Showcase School, accessible from anywhere
- A bespoke set of terms and conditions, prepared for Ruthin families to make the move to Myddelton as smooth and straightforward as possible

Open events run from Thursday 2 July to Saturday 4 July, with an online webinar for international families on Friday morning. We are also happy to arrange a personal or small-group tour, on site or online.
