Beyond the taught curriculum, Weekend Adventure Days offer pupils from Nursery to Sixth Form extra chances to explore and adventure, on selected Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. Each day has a distinct focus, combining fun with real personal and practical development.
Activities include:
- Coasteering, canoeing and rock climbing
- Hillwalking and exploration
- Mine and cave exploration
- Woodland challenges and bushcraft
- Seasonal and environmental activities
- Canoe-based pirate adventures for younger pupils
Activities are matched to age and experience — younger children enjoy imaginative canoe journeys, den building and woodland challenges, while older pupils can access coasteering, climbing, mountain journeys and underground exploration. Days are delivered by Myddelton’s own Outdoor and Adventure Education staff or specialist external providers, always within the College’s risk-management procedures.
