Each morning, students follow one of two pathways.
Option 1: EAL Programme – English that goes beyond the classroom
Our EAL (English as an Additional Language) pathway helps students develop their English through engaging lessons, collaboration and practical activities.
Students use English throughout their time at camp: talking with classmates, working in teams, sharing ideas, and taking part in activities and excursions. The focus is on building confidence in using English in real-life situations and developing communication skills students can take home with them.
Students will develop:
-
Speaking & listening: confidence communicating with others in English
-
Vocabulary & communication: language they can use in everyday situations
-
Teamwork: working with students from different backgrounds
-
Confidence: using English beyond the classroom and in new situations
-
Intercultural skills: meeting students from different cultures and learning from each other
Learning English. Making friends. Growing in confidence.
Option 2: Myddelton Inventors’ Academy – 8 days. 1 invention. 100% yours.
The Myddelton Inventors’ Academy is an eight-day journey from a first idea to a finished invention.
Working in international teams, students identify a real-world problem and explore the science behind possible solutions. They then build and test a physical prototype, using technology and AI critically along the way. The Academy combines science, engineering, creativity, English, teamwork and communication. Students learn by making, testing, failing and improving.
By the end of the Academy, each team will have:
- Created a physical prototype
- Tested and improved their invention
- Used science and technology to develop their ideas
- Used AI as a tool for thinking and problem-solving
- Created a 60–90 second commercial
- Presented their invention at the Inventors’ Expo
Think. Discover. Build. Explore. Invent. Engineer. Communicate. Launch.
