What Makes Myddelton’s Summer Camp Special?

Our programme is built around outdoor challenge, teamwork and fun:

• Mountain hiking in Snowdonia

• Canoeing and water-based activities

• Cycling and outdoor pursuits

• Team sports and organised challenges

Pupils are encouraged to push themselves, try unfamiliar activities and build confidence through achievement.

Confidence, Independence & Real-Life Skills

Through shared experiences, teamwork and leadership challenges, pupils naturally develop:

• Confidence and independence

• Communication and teamwork

• A sense of responsibility and self-belief

These skills are developed through doing — not sitting still.

Excursions & Exploration

The adventure continues beyond campus, with trips that combine culture, excitement and discovery, including:

• Manchester

• Liverpool

• Conwy Castle

• The mountains and landscapes of Snowdonia National Park

Each excursion is designed to be engaging, social and memorable.

A Social, International Community

Pupils join a diverse and welcoming community, making friends with young people from the UK and around the world. This mix adds energy to the camp and helps pupils broaden their perspectives in a natural, relaxed way.

For pupils who want to build confidence in communication, there are plenty of opportunities through group activities, discussions and shared experiences — without the pressure of formal language learning.
